Hiking has been a huge part of my life since my grandpa took me up Prospect Mountain as a kid. I would always ask my grandpa about what the view would be like on our next hike to which he would always reply “trees, trees, trees”. This fueled my curiosity and yearning to explore, and that passion still lives on today. The memories I've made inspired the idea of The Trailhead, and our mission is essential in hopes of making more. The Trailhead is more than a business to me, it's a platform to ensure I can create memories for my future kids and grandkids the way my grandpa did for me.

As an Eagle Scout, the outdoors have always been a huge part of my life- ever since I joined cub scouts when I was a little boy. Being in scouts for so many years- camping, hiking, and simply spending time in nature- was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made. Protecting the environment and spreading awareness has always been something I’ve felt quite passionate about, and I make it a point to clean up any time I see trash in the outdoors. I feel that spreading awareness about wildlife and nature (and its preservation) is key for sustaining an outdoor environment where everyone can enjoy its beauty, and for those long after us as well!
